English text, The “Buen Viaje: Manila-Acapulco-Manila” exhibition celebrated the history and culture shared between Mexico and the Philippines. It featured a collection of artworks, artifacts and original antique maps and prints from the Manila Galleon trade route that connected the Philippines with Mexico and thus the Americas. An outstanding exhibition held at Pinto Art Museum from 05 May to 23 June 2024, in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico and with Rudolf J. H. Lietz of the Gallery of Prints, the exhibit features art, food and culture that circulated in the Galleon Trade from the 1600s-1800s.
