First English and modern Spanish language edition, published by San Agustin Convent c/o Fr. Pedro Galende in Manila. 3 volumes: First and second volume contain the complete 479 plates, and the third volume the complete text. Edition is limited to 1000 copies, each one numbered. The Flora de Filipinas is the first locally published book of its kind, a rare monumental compilation on Philippine Botany, in which Blanco describes 1,081 plants. This work marked the beginning of Botanical Illustration in the Philippines; the artists included Lorenzo Guerrero, Regino Garcia y Basa, Fabian Domingo, C. Arguelles, F. Pardo, J.
